Jack & Alex
Ajax was founded by two brothers, Jack and Alex, who grew up surrounded by lawyers. Both of their parents were lawyers, as were many of their parents’ closest friends. When they first told their dad the about the idea for Ajax, he immediately remembered the exact matter codes he had billed to in his first law job over 30 years ago - a pretty clear sign that timekeeping sticks with you.
Starting Ajax
Before starting the business, they interviewed 150 lawyers in a month to make sure they had strong conviction that time tracking is insanely painful and hard to automate - a good space to solve problems.
Where we're at now!
Today, Ajax uses AI to automate timekeeping and make lawyers’ days suck less. Soon, we’ll use Ajax data to automate reporting, manage profitability, win clients, and more.
